Through a nationwide concept competition, eBay selected Winter Street Architects along with EDI and AHA as their team to design an ultra-efficient, forward thinking and future proof Data Center in a building not originally conceived for that purpose.

Our team turned heads by proposing all-year free cooling under the unforgiving Arizona sun and an ultimate megawatt number that opened up unforeseen possibilities.

The project included high density computer racks on the first floor, and data center containers on the roof.  An adjacent yard needed to be extended to provide necessary electrical and mechanical equipment.
